Now no brake and parking lights. Signal and hazard lights are working, I wanted to see if the backup lights worked, guess what, the shifter won't move, like it is stuck.

OK in the process you have blown the brake lamp fuse and this also will affect the shift interlock device. so replace the fuse and see if it blows again or not. if not then great, your back on the road, if so then you have a short to ground somewhere in the circuit.
