Changing a battery in my 2005 Chevy Avalanche. Do I need a code for the radio after I change the battery? I had to have one in my Pontiac Grand Prix.

No. The radio is Serial locked with the vehicles BCM. So there is no need to worry, this is a Chevy not a Honda!!
